Foundations Series: Purpose of Charity Baptist Church

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Charity Baptist Church exists to glorify God. By the Grace of God, out of our love for Jesus, and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we pursue this purpose of glorifying God through:

• Worshiping Him.
• Studying and teaching God’s Word for the equipping of the saints.
• Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ for the salvation of the lost.
• Supporting and participating in the work of missions, at home and abroad.
• Fostering love for one another through fellowship in the gospel among believers.
• Ministering to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families.
